Reginald Robinson

... is a native Californian and a graduate of Castlemont High School in Oakland. At the age of 14, with no formal training in art, he created "Portrait of Mahalia Jackson". While in high school, he received multiple grants to participate in summer art classes offered by the University of California at Berkeley. His early artwork appeared in the Oakland museum and in an Oakland Tribune article which helped him gain admission to multiple colleges and universities throughout the US. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and currently resides in Maryland with is wife of 15 years. While he has enjoyed a successful 30-year career in the Information Technology industry, he recently launched because "it's time to return to my artistic roots, with new artworks coming soon".
